halloween 2008

We had a good time this year. Melissa usually makes her costumes, she mad herself a Missionay and then for the day a witch...complete with my house broom. patty was ofcorse a princess, and picked Snow White. David changed his costume all day..lol!

My two nieces came for a visit!

My sister had two children before she died. Ashley her oldest lives locally, but Amamda lives by LA. Amanda recently married and had a child. They came for a visit so my Aunt Judi and Tall Judy came for lunch to have the entire family in one place!

Ahh the old days!

I just found these today while I was looking for a picture of the kids, I forgot how small they were. We moved to 1726 Merrill Loop almost 4 years ago and wow, the kids were so small. I hope you enjoy the trip down memory lane. Here are just a few!

Summers almost over!

Well some parents are happy to see summer end, I however am not. I will miss them so much. I have come to treasure the small moments this summer most, the ones I am usually to busy to miss. Melissa had summer school and so I dreaded that. She made new friends and me too! Patricia would make me pictures and in the morning she would leave them on my bedroom door, I would be surprised at her details. David is so caring, he loves his family so much. The girls went on overnight at their grandparnets and he truely missed them. He has started to say seriously, but he says it in the cutest way..love him! I am so grateful for this time to talk and play with them. I am going to truely miss the converstion at lunch, laughing at silly things and hugs when they are sad. I know they are not going off to war, but sometimes 5 and 1 grades can be rough too!

teeth teeth teeth every where but.....

We have had to loan the Tooth Fairy some money lately the girls have lost so many teeth! Patricia lost her first two this spring and Melissa..well she (I think she pulls them for money?) keeps loosing more and more. Melissa lost one last night. She was so excited! She said it almost fell out at the market, I told her the price on a tooth lost outside of our house looses 50% value..lol. She kept it in but it was ready. David pulled it when we got home. He thinks the Fairy hates him because she does not leave him any money.

We have been to the SAn Francisco Zoo

I try to keep the children on a schedule, not as good as the school but we try to do certain things on a day. Monday is chore day, Tuesday is library day and Wednesdays is park day and Thursday is Museum day and Friday is water, lake, beach day. This is my cuties July 2008 at the SF Zoo on the free day!

Melissa, Patty and David fall down the rabbit hole!
